The Mbay Dam project, which carries a total cost of IDR 1.47 trillion, is targeted for completion by 2026. Despite the challenges posed by the scale of the project, Waskita Karya remains confident in its ability to deliver the dam on time, ensuring that all aspects of construction are completed to the highest standards. Dhetik Ariyanto expressed the company’s commitment to the project, saying, "We are committed to completing the construction of the Mbay Dam on time and with high quality."
The Mbay Dam is one of the 77 National Strategic Projects (PSN) outlined in Presidential Regulation Number 12 of 2025, which focuses on Indonesia’s long-term development plan (RPJMN 2025-2029). As part of this broader initiative, the Mbay Dam will play a key role in enhancing the country’s infrastructure and contributing to the achievement of national development goals.
